Lisa Pin-Up is a beloved figure among clubbers worldwide, renowned for her dynamic presence and infectious beats. Her musical journey spans a diverse range of high-energy dance genres, bringing her distinct style to every event. Over the course of three decades, she has delivered electrifying performances, cementing her status as an iconic British female DJ and one of the scene’s most prominent names.
Throughout her illustrious career, Lisa has mixed numerous compilations, some of which earned gold discs for their sales. Additionally, she has appeared on the front cover of DJ Mag on two occasions and secured a spot in the top 30 of the magazine’s prestigious worldwide poll of the top 100 DJs. Most recently, Lisa performed live for Boiler Room TV, a platform that connects DJ performances from around the world and broadcasts shows from approximately 100 cities worldwide.
Lisa’s creative energy extends far beyond the DJ booth. As a prolific producer, she has released over 40 tracks on renowned labels like Tidy, Nukleuz, Ministry of Sound, and her own imprint, Rock Hard Recordings. Notably, she also released her artist album, aptly titled Baddest Mutha, which showcases her original productions. And let’s not forget the historic Tidy Girls EP—a groundbreaking release from Lisa and the rest of the Tidy Girls that played a pivotal role in bringing Hard House music into the mainstream. Now, 25 years after their initial release, the Tidy Girls are reuniting to celebrate this milestone with a brand-new EP, featuring Lisa’s new track called “Dirty Bass”.
Lisa’s journey began when the ultra-glamorous London club Pushca discovered her. It was Pushca that bestowed upon her the now-iconic DJ name, thinking it was the perfect fit. Shortly thereafter, Lisa secured a management deal with Miss Moneypenny’s and became a resident DJ at Freedom in London’s Bagley’s Film Studios. Her magnetic presence has graced the largest events and festivals across the UK, and she has spun her magic at nearly every European destination, including the legendary party island of Ibiza. Lisa also captivated audiences in the US and Canada.
